Vale is the floral design project of two friends, Brooke Giard and Rachel johnson. The collaboration began when the two met flower farming in Vermont, dreaming of designs inspired by the landscape surrounding them. Their inspiration is rooted in the seasonal florals they nurture, but expands into a realm of experimentation. 

Both Vale designers found floristry in their early twenties, beginning their time in the industry working at flower shops. After which, the two dove into freelancing for other wedding florists, pursuing their own design opportunities, and farming. 

With their dynamic backgrounds in design and agriculture, Brooke and Rachel have a deep understanding of the care that flowers require, and how to create something that’s uniquely their own. 

In their eyes, collaboration leads to the greatest creativity.
